Data we collect

When you create an account we store your email and display name. As you play, we save your team picks, transfers, captain choices, and league memberships so we can score your gameweeks and show standings.

If you grant analytics consent, we record page views and a small set of named product events (for example, "team saved", "transfer made") so we can see which features are useful and where the app breaks. Error reports include the page you were on and a short technical stack trace; they never include your password or payment details.

If you file a bug report from inside the app, we keep whatever you type in the form along with the page you reported from.

How we use it

We use your account data to run the app: sign you in, score your team, manage your leagues, process payments, and send you transactional emails (password resets, receipts, league invites).

We use analytics and error reports, when you have consented, to find and fix bugs and to decide what to build next. We do not sell your data. We do not run ads. Marketing emails are off by default and only sent if you opt in.

Age requirement: 18+. Microsoft Clarity does not record sessions of users under 18, so The Gaffer is for adults only.

Your rights

You can view and export everything we hold on you from the Your data section on /profile. You can delete your account from the same page; deletion is permanent and removes your teams and league memberships.

You can change your cookie choices at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer. Withdrawing consent is as easy as granting it, and choosing to reject non-essential cookies will never block you from using the app.
